Online Applications and Service Requests

 

The online applications website for Mansfield Electric Applications includes Residential Electrical Service, Commercial Electrical Service, Move Out Requests, and Electric Service Request applications.

Please read the Topics below starting with 'Get Started' to create your account and then learn how to navigate through the program all the way up to paying online. 

Note: If you already have an account for Building, Fire or Public Health Department Permits, you will not need to create a new account.

GETTING STARTED

*  Access Application website, using the link below, to bring you to the login window.

*  If you already have an account then simply log in to start the process; if not, just select 'New User Register Here' to create an account.

*  After you've logged in, select the 'New Application' button at the top left of the screen and then click the "MMED" icon.

*  Select the type of application you are applying for.

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

*  When you select an address, the owner of the property will auto-fill.

*  Please fill in as much information as possible; however, all mandatory fields marked with a red asterisk*  must be filled in, in order to submit your application.

*  After you've entered all of your information you can select the Submit button to submit your application or select the Save and Exit button to save your application and finish it at a later time. Please be aware that the Exit button will exit you from the application without saving it.

 *  Once application is submitted please go into your application and upload a copy of your Photo ID.

*  After you select the Submit button, you will see a screen telling you that your application was submitted successfully.

NAVIGATING YOUR APPLICATION

*  Once logged in, you will see a list of all of the applications that you have applied for, with the most recent at the top. Recently applied for applications will show pending in the Status column.

*  Select the 'eye' icon to the left of the screen will open the Transactions Monitor box.

*  At the top, you will see a row of icons. Click on the “paper clip” icon to attach your photo Identification.

MONITORING YOUR APPLICATION

*  Once logged in, select the 'eye' icon to the left of the screen to open the Transactions Monitor box.

*  The first tab is the Checklist tab. Here you will be able to monitor approvals, denials, comments, etc. and respond accordingly, if required. The application cannot move forward until signed off by an MMED staff member.  There will be a green check mark under Verified.

*  The second tab is the Deposit tab. Prior to issuing the application, you will be notified of the Deposit requirement that must be paid if you are a renter.  No deposit required if you are purchasing a home.   You will be taken to a third-party website where you will have the option to pay by credit card or electronic check.

*  The third tab is the Confirmation Receipt tab. Once the fee has been paid, MMED staff will issue the application and you will be notified that you are now the official customer of record.
